Mankind
MANKIND: We believe God created mankind in His own image, male and female95, for relationship with Himself and to govern the earth96. Under the temptation of satan97
and their disobedience and not trusting God, our original parents were driven out of the garden98, creating alienation from our Creator, thus bringing sin99, sickness100
and death to the earth101. Through their disobedience and not trusting in God, satan and his demonic hosts gained access to God's good creation102. Creation now experiences the consequences and effects of Adam and Eve’s original sin103.
Human beings are born in sin104, their nature is corrupted105. They are hostile to God, unable to please Him106, separated from Him107
and responsible for their own sin. They are subject to God's just judgment of wrath and death108, and captive to satan's kingdom of darkness109. But by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all110.
